Our story

Although now located in the Perth Hills in the creative hands of Sophie, Hattie & Mouse was born in the wide open basin of Brewongle, NSW. It was a slow, stolen moment in time, among the billy carts and the bubble blowing, the mud kitchen and the dress-ups, when the idea of unique 3D cookie cutter characters came to life. Brought to life with ink and a blank page, gently mixed with a healthy dose of imagination and input – Hattie & Mouse is an all-Australian made product worthy of passing down for generations to come.

What began as a way to entertain our craft-loving children has grown into a business Sophie now runs alongside her adored children and life on her hobby farm, perfectly positioned to capture all four seasons, on the edge of the Perth Hills.

The cookie crew welcome new members on a regular basis, thanks to our hand-drawn designs being sent to a family-owned 3D printery in South Australia. Today, the Hattie & Mouse range includes an impressively cute 25 designs, teamed with icing scribes, deluxe sprinkles, sugar eye vials and those all-important 6mm rolling depth guides and a cookie dough mix – all the tools needed to bring your cuddly koala, magical unicorn, bright pink pig or spiky dinosaur to life.

But Hattie & Mouse is about so much more than cookie cutters – it’s quality time with the little humans you love, a reason to pause, take breath and create something both crafty and delicious. It’s a window in your day for now, but a lifelong memory for tomorrow.
